December 12 - today we're driving up to see Kyra's winter concert for band. It's a Monday so we get two days off for the driving :-)

First Haircut

December 11 - Aidan had his first hair cut today at Peek-a-Do. He was a little unsure of the newness of the place and where we wanted him to sit at first. Then he relaxed and had a great time! He looks so cute with his new haircut :-)

Working on my Christmas Cards

I went with a fairly simple design this year - mass-producible. The berries were individually glued on, and the outline hand-drawn. The holly and ornament are die-cuts from PTI, as is the Noel stamp. I'm making 30, so hopefully that's the right number!! Only assembly left to go!

December 4th

A nice way to start the day - sleeping in! Aidan slept until 8:15, then Mike volunteered to take him down for breakfast. I got a chance to wake up slowly :-)

December 3rd

We visited Primrose today for pancakes and a ride on the Polar Express. We tried to visit Santa, but Aidan doesn't know him well yet, so he was a little scared!

It's Saryn's 4th birthday today so we went to her house for a party. They are living with Aunt Lynn while their house is being built.

Mess

It's just mess mess mess around here for the last nine months, but hopefully we're turning a corner. I started back up on the treadmill, and we did a TON of cleaning yesterday. We're not done yet, but I feel like it's going in the right direction. Yay!

Graduation!

My step-son, Kevan, graduated from high school on June 20th. I'm so excited for him as he enters the next phase of his life!

Dinner is Finished

And Aidan is still asleep! He's been so miserable today with his ear infection. His fever is better (I hope for good), but he's a bit "over tired" and so is having trouble going down for naps. It's been a little over an hour though, so we had time for dinner and a glass of wine. Much needed after a long-ish day of whining :-(

We met some friends for a birthday outing at the DPAP this past weekend. Aidan hung out with us like a champ - he loves people! This is him with our friend, Barb. It was her husband, Alan's birthday.

He's not there yet, but Aidan will be moving on his own soon. He scooches backwards, and spins to face any way he wants. Now he's got to get those knees under himself :-)

Morning Rainbow

My husband is the one who does this hard work. Every morning he washes and prepares Aidan's bottles. It's a job I hate, so I'm very grateful for it. I don't think I tell him enough, though!

Long Drive

Kevan and Kyra are with us this weekend, so we are all holed-up in the car for the trip down. We have had some interesting conversation; finances, politics, evolution, facts of life education in schools, Germany geography, roman history...
